Paul W. Estes President

Today, as President, he collaborates on planning for technology roadmaps, new product development and expansion, business relations, sales team integration, and staffing. He also holds responsibility for intellectual property management, quality and regulatory affairs, manufacturing, software development, and customer training and support.

Paul has a B.S. degree in Education from Houghton College.

Ernest Fung, PsyD, ABPP Senior Vice President of Clinical and Medical Affairs

With a career spanning over a decade, Dr. Fung has collaborated with physicians from multiple disciplines to assess and treat individuals with central nervous system (CNS) disorders. Dr. Fung has also served as a clinical trial scientist, assisting biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies to maximize the quality of cognitive test data in drug development.

Dr. Fung earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from University College London and his doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. In addition to his professional endeavors, Dr. Fung is a dedicated mentor and advocate for education and accreditation in clinical neuropsychology. He serves as a work sample reviewer for the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology and an ad hoc reviewer for the Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology.

Samantha McDonnell Vice President of Finance and Human Resources

Sam brings over 10 years of experience as a financial leader within a variety of industries including medical devices, niche manufacturing and distribution, professional services, and telecommunications. Her career has been rich in disrupting the status quo while focused on increasing operational efficiency through process improvement, software implementations, and redesigning financial models.

Prior to joining Cognivue, Sam was the CFO at a local medical device manufacturer, where she was instrumental in managing cash flow for the start-up. Prior to that, she was a member of the Willowood USA LLC executive team that strategically drove a $45M reduction of debt and maneuvered the company’s acquisition by Generic Crop Science. She has a proven track record of leading all accounting and finance functions, managing working capital, and developing forecasting models to promote operational predictability.

Sam received her MBA and B.S. from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY.

Patrick Lawler Director of Sales

His dedication to advancing cognitive health solutions is deeply personal, having joined Cognivue in 2021 following the loss of his mother to Alzheimer’s Disease. After experiencing how the current health care model failed his family, and realizing how many others share similar grief, he joined Cognivue to be part of the solution to better patient care and be an advocate for those impacted by dementia.

Under his leadership, Cognivue continues to expand its reach and impact—helping individuals and healthcare providers better understand and manage cognitive health.  Patrick holds a degree in Business Administration and his professional journey is characterized by a blend of strategic vision, empathetic leadership, and a relentless drive to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cognitive disorders.

Nehama Moskowitz, MBA Product Manager

With a diverse background, Nehama has worked in a large global healthcare business as well as small, specialized organizations. Nehama’s experience includes: driving go-to-market efforts for product launches; strategizing for and executing on marketing plans and other customer engagement activities; and infusing customer insights into marketing strategies.

Nehama received her MBA and BS from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

Noah Peterham Director of Engineering

Noah grew his career at several Rochester area startups and midsized organizations working in product development until he started at Cognivue where he has grown with the company.

During his time at Cognivue, Noah has participated in every part of the product development pipeline. In his current role leading the Research and Development department, Noah has worked with key stakeholders to develop new and progressing value streams supporting clinical research efforts and commercialization while improving quality and reliability of the Cognivue product ecosystem

James E. Galvin, MD, MPH Chief Scientific Officer

He is Alexandria & Bernard Schoninger Endowed Chair in Memory Disorders, Founding Director of the Comprehensive Center for Brain Health, Director and Principal Investigator of the Lewy Body Dementia Research Center of Excellence, and Chief of Division of Cognitive Neurology for Palm Beach and Broward County leading their brain health and neurodegenerative disease research and clinical programs.

Dung Trinh, MD Chief Medical Officer – Engagement

He is also the Chief Medical Officer of Astiva Health, a Medicare Advantage Health Plan committed to providing smart and accessible quality healthcare.

Over the years, Dr. Trinh has developed a passion for educating his patients and the community. He provides numerous lectures on a variety of health topics throughout Orange County. In his early days of practicing medicine, he became frustrated with the limited medical treatments available for Alzheimer’s. He is deeply involved in all aspects of Alzheimer’s care, including clinical trials.

Dr. Trinh focuses on the overall health of his patients with a primary focus of preventing Alzheimer’s. He believes it is important to teach his older patients about the progression of the disease and diagnosis in its early stages. His overall practices centers around prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of Alzheimer’s.

Dr. Trinh is a well-known expert in speaking on preventive health including brain health, inflammation, ketosis, and intermittent fasting.

Dr. Trinh serves on several advisory boards, board of directors and helped found several companies ranging from healthcare to e-commerce.
