CogniVue operates a Custom Product design services business from which the commercially successful Maple media processor family emerged. The CogniVue Maple portfolio of custom products includes programmable multimedia processors that perform all video, audio, image and graphics processing for mobile phones and converged consumer devices such as personal media players (PMPs). These media processors have been designed to ensure low power, small footprint and high performance - all vital for today’s mobile devices.

While continuing to support its Custom Product business, CogniVue is focusing on its Standard Product business to provide intelligent imaging based semiconductor solutions for markets such as automotive, portable consumer products and IP video surveillance. CogniVue will introduce the first ever programmable Image Cognition Processor (ICP) to enable real-time embedded image and video analytics applications in emerging markets such as automotive smart camera, internet protocol (IP) security cameras and portable 3D display products.
